[Ashley starts putting sun screen on Spencer as Glen walks by and dries his hair on Spencer]
Spencer: Glen!
Glen: Just keep your hands inside the rails, okay? This is a family day, not homo happy hour.
Spencer: Shut up.

Kyla: God, it must suck to be Ashley and Spencer.
Aiden: What do you mean?
Kyla: They have to sneak around while Clay and Chelsea can just be.
Aiden: Didn't know you cared so much about your sister.
Kyla: Watch your mouth.
Aiden: Ow.
Kyla: I'm just saying that love is hard enough in a perfect world. It must be so painful for them in theirs.

Ashley: Alright, if your mom keeps looking at me like that, I'm gonna start thinking she wants to date me, too.
Glen: Sorry, but mom doesn't swing that way.
Ashley: God, um, call me later? [Spencer nods]

Ashley: Spence, stay away. [Spencer and Ashley pass the 'Gay-Straight America' club table] Ugh, okay, kill me now. Um, yeah, I’m gonna be over here. Loser-adjacent.

Ashley: You feel okay?
Spencer: Yeah, I just, I might have a concussion. I just can't believe this happened.
Ashley: Stupid guys and their stupid testosterone.
Spencer: It wasn't just some random guy fight, why are people so horrible?
Glen: This is your fault.
Ashley: Uh, excuse me?
Glen: You heard me, if you weren't this way my sister would have never gotten hurt.
Ashley: You must be high.

Ashley: Grrr. I know it's obnoxiously sweet and all Hallmark-y but still, grrr.
Spencer: I love it. Aww, she's gonna have to stay in here during class though.
Ashley: She can wait for you.

Wade: Spencer, right?
Spencer: Yeah.
Wade: How you doin'?
Spencer: I'm okay, I just, thanks. How you doin'?
Wade: I'll heal. So we've got a strategy meeting next Wednesday, can you come?
Spencer: Oh, I don't know.
Ashley: Strategy for what?
Wade: For moving forward. This whole thing upped our visibility by a hundred percent, you've got to come. You're one of the victims, this will be a great opportunity.
Ashley: Are you kidding? My girlfriend has a concussion and now you want her to be your spokesmodel.
Wade: That's not exactly what I meant.
Ashley: This is your fault that she's hurt at all so why don't you just leave us alone, okay? An go on with your little strategy party, just stay out of our faces.
Wade: Sorry, guys.
Spencer: What's wrong with you? You sound like, just like that guy who beat him up. And Glen. I don't even know what to say to you.

Ashley: Hey.
Spencer: How'd you know I was here?
Ashley: Clay.
Chelsea: Okay, I'm gonna go run and get a coffee. Actually, I'll walk. [Chelsea leaves]
Ashley: Okay, you're upset and hurt. And I'm sorry. I know you think I was wrong, Spencer, and maybe I was, but here's the thing, I was protecting you. And when it comes down to having the choice of being right or protecting you, I'll be wrong every single time. Because it's just who I am. [Spencer places her hand on Ashley's knee]
